Wimu V3a Packaging Variant 2 This OpenSCAD parametric packaging script version 2 is used to create a prototype production packaging for the WIMUv3a devices. The variant is based on Mark Gaffney's original design, version 2.6k, and was last updated on July 9th, 2013. The package includes numerous files to provide an idea of the back-and-forth tweaks and adjustments involved in creating a simple prototype production run. The author, Mark Gaffney, recommends downloading HarlanDMii's "write.scad" module from Thingiverse and placing it in the same directory to run this script on your PC. The thing also utilizes kitlaan's customizable electronic device packaging structure. Before generating a stacked layout in OpenSCAD, be aware that it may appear as if the top is taller than it should be due to a visualization bug. However, the exported .STL file will be perfect. Additionally, when creating a stacked layout, ensure all parts are generated at z = 0 for proper visualization. The red half in the stacked mode may seem like the full length, but this is also a visualization bug in OpenSCAD; the part is actually generated correctly.
