The Wimshurst, a high voltage generator suited for 3D printing, necessitates various components such as discs, shaft, bolts, nuts, leyden jars, and collectors. It also requires motor-driven operation with standard inline skater bearings (4x 22mm/8mm x 7mm), aluminum foil or plates within the range of 0.1 - 0.5mm (like barbecue trays), fine litz wire or carbon fiber (available at hobby shops). Additionally, a variable toy motor with a 25-35 mm diameter and approximately 10mm visible shaft is needed. Detailed assembly instructions can be found in the PDF file included with this project.
