Wilton Bench Vise Soft Jaws

A very simple set of soft jaws for my Wilton 6" Bench Vise (63302). The usual cheap plastic or nylon soft jaws with magnets don't work well for me in knife making, since the magnets inevitably collect metal dust and shavings, which will end up marring my knives. This thing was made to enclose the particular steel faces of my vise, which has the dimensions of 12mm x 21mm x 151mm, and I've added a 1.4mm overhang to ensure the soft jaws don't pull off the vise during use. In my photos, I've added some inset text just because I could, but the model here does not include any lettering. For best results, add a strip of leather to the faces, although that wouldn't be strictly necessary to use this as non-marring soft jaws.
