Wilson with Hair

My version of Wilson from the Tom Hanks movie Castaway was created by applying a lithopane of his face onto a standard volleyball. To add texture and depth, I used a bundle of tree branches as his hair. I recently added a new version with a face that has more defined features. Although I initially loved the roughness and tactile quality of the lithopane, I found it challenging to add color to the face. Additionally, I didn't realize there was a void in the center of the ball, which made painting difficult, and the bottom flat part was uneven. These issues are resolved in the new version, which should print more smoothly with an easier-to-paint face. While I'm happy to share my designs here for people to print as part of their personal collections, please refrain from making them for resale.
