Williams Optics RedCat51 electric focuser mounting hardware

thingiverse

This design is for mounting hardware I developed to incorporate my DIY electric focusing system into my Williams Optics RedCat51. The system is a custom creation, not reliant on or connected to any commercial hardware or software. This information is being provided to assist others developing their own systems and needing mounting options. The design centers around a NEMA17 stepper with a 27:1 planetary gearbox attached. The GT2 pulley on the RedCat51 features 140 teeth and a 78mm bore size. I've used a commercial 60 tooth GT2 pulley on the stepper; alternative 3D printed options are available. Required hardware includes: One NEMA17 - 17hs13-0404S-PG27 stepper Three M3 grub screws Two M6 x 25mm Cap screws (Allen Head) Two M6 x 25mm Bolts (hex head) Four M6 nuts One RJ45 socket and breakout board One GT2 400mm closed belt
