###Intro### Willem programmers require a parallel port to operate. This is a dedicated PC for programming EPROMS. ###Description### This project utilized an older PC to build a purpose built programmer. 12VDC lines are soldered to the barrel connector pads under the board and routed to the 12VDC line off the PC supply using the sata drive power cables (yellow +12vdc and black ground) leads. ###Implementation### The parallel cable from the board attaches to the parallel adapter for the PC. The PC uses Win 7 32bit operating system and v0.97ja software. 2 versions of the baseplate are available. Fit is friction fit around the board. If using the mountable version as pictured, the metal case must be cut to recess into an opening in the case. I accomplished this with a Dremel tool and composite cutting wheel. I operate the unit headless on my network when I need it by setting up Windows Remote Desktop on it. ###Printing### Basic baseplate requires no support. Mountable version support required.
