Human visitors were scanned in 3D at the Big Bang Fair by our scanning rig, a massive setup of 96 DSLR cameras that captured an astonishing total of 1.8 Giga pixels of data for each scan. We processed this vast amount of data with the assistance of friends from CapturingReality.com, whose software expertly analyzed each image to identify unique points on every single one, and then plotted these points in precise 3D space whenever they appeared on multiple images.
