thingiverse
These are add on parts for the Will Hirsch Case Bravo (http://cases.willhirsch.gay/). This adds up to 16 additional storage slots for a total of 31. This took a decent amount of time to put together, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Feedback certainly welcomed.Additional Materials UsedA WH Case Bravo (obviously)Double sided adhesive pads or tapeAdhesive foam or felt sheets1/2"x1/16" adhesive foam weather strippingShort length of elastic cord1) Feet attachments - This allows the lid to remain propped up when openPrint these in TPU for durability or the feet will just dent each other. Or at least add some padding to the surfaces that bang together.Attach to case with double sided adhesive.Cut a little bit off of the larger piece in your slicer if you want a different prop angle. The height of the feet are sized for adhesive pads that add about 1mm of height.2) Main storage organizer - stacking trays with dividers to hold additional balis. I have 3 variants of this:V1.1 - Three trays. Three balis laid flat in each, for a total of nine, three accessible from the top.V1.1a - Two trays. Use the top tray from V1.1 for the top. Bottom tray holds six balis on their side. Also a total of nine, three accessible.V2.0 - Two trays that stack at an angle. Six balis each, stored on their side for a total of 12.Split apart the combined STL and print individual components. A print bed of at least 175mm long is recommended.Add padding with adhesive felt or foam to interior surfaces. This is optional, but I like the little extra protection. You can also model your own dividers if you want a different size or shape. They should be about 1.9-2mm thick.3) Secondary storage organizer - This tray slots into the smaller secondary storage compartment. Two accessible from the top, two internally. There are holes for an optional elastic band to secure the bottom balisongs.3) Secondary storage organizer - This tray slots into the smaller secondary storage compartment. Two accessible from the top, two internally.4) MiscellaneousOil hole cap - in case you want to cover this hole. I glue Velcro on top of them to attach patches.Logo inert - just thingamabobs for funDisplay slot liner - place inside display slots to prevent moving balis from denting/deforming the surrounding foam.TipsDon't forget to pad the underside of the upper trays. Make sure your padding is thin enough to not interfere with the fit.The feet should be about 1mm past the built in case feet when attached. If yours stick out too much or too little, use one of the different sized variants.Change Log6/30/24Added display slot liner5/11/24Version 2 - The top and bottom of the main storage is now cut at an angle, allowing six balisongs each, for a total overall count of 31 (15+12+4).3/10/24Fixed feet file that was missing a cutAdded variants of feet for use with different thickness adhesiveMinor adjustments to main storage tray sizing, and divider anglesAdded alternate main storage part, which replaces the bottom two trays with a single large tray.
