It helps to keep the grinder clean from leftover grounds deposited on the grinding mechanism. I made mine from TPU 60D but I suggest a flexible material such as TPU 90A or lower. There is a dent in the design that is supposed to get caught on the basket where the beans go but it doesn't accomplish its purpose. I leave it there because I think that helps to secure the print to the machine so it's kind of a is not thought feature jeje. I suggest printing it upside down so you use the 45-degree overhang from the dent. General settings used for your other prints on exception of: -wall thickness: 0.4mm -layer height: 0.2 or lower doesn't matter much(i think, don't know for sure) -perimeter print speed: from 10mm/s (stock ender 3) to 40 mm/s (direct drive bmg or greater setup).
