This custom motor mount was engineered to enable me to install my Watersnake T24 trolling motor in the space where the kayak pedal drive would normally be located. Please note that this setup requires the specific motor with kayak mount bracket, available at the link below, for it to function properly. The two halves of the mount are secured together using 1/4 - 20 screws, washers and locking nuts, and the entire system attaches to the boat via the same clevis used for the helix pedal drive. When searching for the 1/4-20 screws, be sure not to choose a length that is too long, as it will prevent the mount from being installed in the boat.
