Wild West Ammo
thingiverse
Accurate* models of some of the most commonly used ammunition calibers during the period of the American Wild West (late 1800s). Two models available: One with all calibers arranged on a display pedestal (with a relief image of a Colt Walker pistol and a bonus trio of shotgun pellet models), and the other with all calibers as individual rounds. All cartridge models also have headstamps in the base to help identify them. Included calibers are: .31 caliber cap and ball (with estimated volume of gunpowder required per shot) .36 caliber cap and ball (with estimated volume of gunpowder required per shot) .44 caliber cap and ball (with estimated volume of gunpowder required per shot) .44 Henry Rimfire .44 Smith & Wesson / Russian .44-40 Winchester .45 Long Colt .45-70 Government .50-70 Government 12 Gauge shotgun (paper wall case) Print with layers no larger than 0.1mm, or a lot of the fine details in the headstamps will be lost. This will likely be a LONG print if you decide to make the display base. If you make this, please post a photo - especially if you use multi-colored filament. I'd love to see how you did! Created with Tinkercad. *Accuracy based on researching case diameters in reloading manuals and historical sources.
