Wild Boar skull Low-poly 3D model
cgtrader
The remains of a wild boar were uncovered in an ancient European forest. Measuring approximately 30 centimeters in length, the skeletal remains are now readily available as a pre-optimized PBR material asset with accompanying 4K textures. With precise manual retopologization ensuring a remarkably high level of detail retention, the original model captured through photogrammetry yields excellent quality textures for seamless application within 3D applications. In order to ensure an optimal balance between realism and visual performance, the skeletal remains come equipped with three different levels of Level Of Detail (LOD). Automatic mesh reduction minimizes polygon count while maintaining satisfactory geometry quality. A variety of maps have been created using different texture types. These maps include a color or albedo map (the color of an object that is not affected by light, including shadows), a height map which stores elevation information in greyscale for simulation purposes; AO (Ambient Occlusion) which affects the color of shadows according to how much ambient lighting they are blocking; Normal Map for bump and depth effect simulations without having normal data directly attached to vertex positions themselves!
