Creating your own game pieces for board games is a thrill unlike any other. There's something special about designing and bringing to life characters that reflect the essence of the game, don't you think? I wanted my animeeples to be more than just basic models. They had to capture the spirit of Agricola. To achieve this, I took the Boar model as a starting point, sliced it in two, modified its legs, and flipped the geometry. The result was a full remix that I printed at 30% of the original size. The tiny boars were quite adorable, but their small stature made it necessary to edit their legs for stability. Although the husks turned out well with the support, the mouth still needed some work. For those who want to see how I achieved this, take a look at the .x3g code. You'll find 14 boars and 1 sheep designed with supports in mind. Printing them upside down and close together proved to be a winning strategy, ensuring a successful print every time.
