It is useful for keeping it when you have finished playing with the wii. It fits well with Wiimotes that have an original silicon cover or no cover at all. The photo shows a version 1 model, but I do not recommend printing this version because it is fragile and prone to breakage. Version 2 of this design is much stronger than Version 1. There is also an alternative lightweight Version 3 which offers a great compromise between weight and strength. Rewritten Text: I am pleased with the functionality of this Wii Remote holder. When I have finished using it, I simply put it away safely in its holder. This particular holder can accommodate both standard and non-standard versions of the Wiimote, making it highly versatile. Please take note that Version 1 was initially a prototype but ultimately did not prove to be satisfactory due to its fragility. I've tested my version of the Wiimote holder with great results. In case you are interested in having a stronger yet still very compact and practical design, I recommend trying out either the strong but solid Vesion 2, or perhaps opting for the lightweight alternative that is available.
