Wiimote GloveClip
thingiverse
The WiimoteGloveClip is a derivative of the Wii Remote, challenging the notion that all a device's features are built-in from the factory. This swivel clip allows users to attach their Wiimote to a glove, enabling free movement in circles for an upcoming game project. Interested contributors can contact the developer via email. The design incorporates elements from Thingiverse, such as the GloveClipLock and star. Future improvements include making it thinner, securing the Wiimote more effectively, tightening tolerances, refining the fabric connector, and potentially adding a DIY rotary encoder. To use the device, follow these steps: attach the WiimoteGloveClipLock and star to the palm of the glove; cut a small hole in the glove's palm over the GloveClipLock's center hole; attach the Wiimote to the WiimoteGloveClip; put on the glove; snap the WiimoteGloveClip into the GloveClipLock; and start spinning! The current best combination is the GloveClipVer2, GloveClipLock, and GloveClipStarVer2.
