WiFi Whip Antenna Parabolic Reflector
thingiverse
The parabolic reflector significantly amplifies the gain of WiFi whip antennas by 4 to 6 decibels. To fabricate this reflector, use a sheet of metal measuring 160mm x the length of your whip antenna plus the supports in this project. I reinforced the edges with electrical tape to ensure safety and also added thickness, making it easier to wedge into the top and bottom support groove. The middle support can be secured with glue or additional tape. Once assembled, slide the reflector over the whip antenna. Maintain the antenna vertically and rotate the reflector to your preferred direction.
