Wifi Scale

Wifi Scale

thingiverse

I need to create a scale that monitors items in my pantry and sends me messages when I'm running low. Currently, I use one inside the fridge to track milk levels. I'm using NodeMCU in deep sleep mode and still working on figuring out battery consumption for this setup. Electronic components needed: - NodeMCU - Cell load (58x12,5mm) - HX711 chip - Battery case (you could also 3D print one) Next time around, I want to redesign the top part so it doesn't require a screw. I'm using MQTT to communicate with my server and then check the status remotely. The initial idea came from this code on GitHub: https://github.com/tinkermax/iotcontainer https://tinker.yeoman.com.au/2016/07/24/iot-container/
