WiFi Router Cooler Fan
thingiverse
I made a fan stand to cool down my wifi router. I use 120mm fan for this, and the height is 70mm because I need it to fit in my tray. You need to print 2pcs of leg.stl and 4pcs of fan mount.stl You also need screws to hold the parts (I use M3 bolt and tapping the part manually using M3x0.5 tapper). And of course the 120mm fan and 8 screws to mount the fan The fan I used is THERMALRIGHT TL-C12 I also put dust filter underneath, the fan airflow is upward. I powered the fan using 5V usb plugged to the router itself. With 5V powering this 12V fan it spins slower, which brings the fan quieter and not overly strong airflow. Please note that not every 120mm 12V fan can be powered with 5V, some has higher startup voltage. Note: I found that removing the top dust filter improved the airflow a lot, so I recommend to not put it like in the photo
