WiFi Router cabinet

thingiverse

This is my homemade router cabinet, capable of containing my Asus RT-AC66U along with its power adapter. A significant opening sits atop for effortless installation of antennas and cables. The MakerBot 2X was the tool I used to bring this design into reality. Unfortunately, considerable difficulty ensued in the process, which necessitates a cautionary warning: if you attempt to recreate this print, be prepared for trial and error. The plastic material exhibits an inherent weakness when a large portion of the build plate is obscured, often resulting in bending - or so I theorize based on my experience with this project.
