WIFI DAC - Raspberry Pi Zero W Music Player

WIFI DAC - Raspberry Pi Zero W Music Player

thingiverse

A small cheap music player based on a "Raspberry Pi Zero W" and a cheap USB soundcard. I use it to play Spotify with the software kit from www.volumio.org which supports DLNA, Squeezeserver, file sharing, Spotify connect and more, check it out! To connect the USB soundcard to the Raspberry I use a very small OTG USB adapter, see picture above. The USB cable supplying power to the other USB micro connector on the Raspberry Pi Zero needs to have a quite small USB plug since the USB soundcard is slightly in the way. I trimmed down the connector with a pair of pliers to make it fit. A 90 degree angle plug could maybe work too.
