WiFi Antenna Radome and Support Rings: Customizable Design The diameter of this WiFi antenna radome and support ring system is 91mm, but it can be resized to meet specific needs if required. This design primarily functions with 2.4GHz a, b, g, and n frequencies. To create the 91mm diameter, I started with a 4" diameter duct that was cut down to size. The reduced diameter was approximately 3.5". I achieved the optimal spacing of 53.3mm between the end of the can and the probe by carefully measuring the total length of the can, which came out to be 147mm. For precise validation or verification, I recommend consulting online resources where you can find numerous examples of similar WiFi antenna designs. To connect my design, I used N-Type connectors with a 30.7mm extension inside the antenna housing. To maintain the round shape of the tube, I employed four support rings made from plastic that do not interfere with the RF signal. Additionally, the radome itself does not obstruct the RF signal.
