wienermobile panpipes

After adding a tapered mouthpiece, these whistle-like panflutes resemble a toy wienermobile due to their hotdog-red ABS material. The curved shape makes them more practical than circular counterparts, while the taper enhances ease of playing on single whistles. However, they are still not suitable as musical instruments. This version has a diatonic scale (CDEFGABC) and required learning the OpenSCAD lookup() function. Printing takes 15 minutes in Skeinforge and approximately 3.5 hours via Thing-o-matic with 1.8mm filament, yet a few pipes have leaky tops that require covering for proper playing; this issue was not present with spiral panpipes and could be due to reduced infill from 15% to 5%.
