Wider Light Bars and Brackets for Taz or other Large Bed Printers

This is a larger set of light bars designed specifically for use with large format printers such as the LulzBot TAZ 5. To print these strips, you will need a 300mm x 300mm bed, allowing for sufficient space to accommodate the design. There are recesses on either side that provide room for solder points and heat shrink as needed, along with a cap fitting over the wires. To achieve optimal results, it is highly recommended that you use a layer of transparent Scotch Gift Wrap tape over the LED's as well (http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_EU/ScotchGift/Wrapping/Products/GiftWrapTape/). Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 5 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.5mm nozzle Infill: 85% Notes: Nothing should require supports, as there is a bit of bridging on the endcaps. Post-Printing Instructions A complete Light bar consists of a Lightstrip, two ends, two end caps, and one middle assembly. Begin by drilling out the tiny hole in the end of one end cap to allow wires to pass through. Print the parts as normal, then assemble your LED adhesive strip (make sure to get the "waterproof" ones - Not because of any supposed water resistance, but because of the protective layer over the LED's). Attach that to the main lightstrip, then coat it with a layer of gift wrap tape, making sure to cover both edges of the LED and the plastic strip. This will prevent any sagging. The Middle bracket can then go into the recessed slot. It is a pressure fit, so it should be fairly snug, You may hear a click as it goes past the narrow point. Now you can feed the wires through the endcap and press it and the wireless one on the other side in place, and fit the end pieces. The end pieces have a recess to route the wire back to the frame away from the strip for a cleaner installation. Next, snap the three frame clips into the T slot extrusion channel and you should be done except for attaching the wires!
