thingiverse
The WidePan X is a curved pinhole camera, designed for an F200 lens, with a 99% 3D-printed construction excluding the lens and metal rods. Crafted for 120 film, it's printable on REP RAPs with heated build platforms. Its largest part measures 195X80X85mm W,D&H. View Scott Mayson's portfolio for more details, and check out the Flickr images for examples. To assemble this creation, print ABS parts in a controlled environment, and post-process them with acetone vapor polishing. Incorporate rare earth magnets at 4x3mm and 4x10mm locations for shutter and viewfinder mechanisms. Attach the Holga 120 film advance mechanism and red window to the camera. To enhance the shutter, consider drilling additional 3mm holes in the shutter and lens shade for extra rare earth magnets.
