This replacement is for the Stock spool holder arm of the Ender 3. The original one was too narrow to accommodate larger 1Kg spools comfortably. The nice feature of this arm is that it has threads matching the stock nuts provided with the Ender 3 spool holder. This results in fewer parts needing to be printed for the mod to work effectively. I'm not certain if the stock arm features an odd thread size or a poor injection mold design, but the nuts do fit on the new arm - they just require a bit of force when first applied.
