Wide Flat LED Strip Holder

LED strips are notoriously difficult to lay and keep perfectly flat without some assistance. A simple holder for LED strips encased in a clear plastic sheath can solve this problem. The clear plastic sheath provides water-proofing and usually measures 15mm x 5mm. The softness of the plastic sheath ensures it fits snugly around the strip. If your LED strip does not have an outer sheath, you'll need to attach it with glue or use two-sided foam tape to keep it in place. The generously wide flat base of this holder makes it easy to lay strips flat and keep them that way. You can also glue them down, drill holes for screws, or nail them into place if needed.
