Wicked Edge Sharpener Upgrade
thingiverse
I'm stumped - my images are warped and I have no idea why. Everything else is working fine, and nothing's changed that I can see. This is a series of upgrades for the Wicked Edge 1st generation sharpener, and I've made some significant changes to it. The base has been replaced with 2" x 1" 80/20 aluminum extrusions, the side rails have been swapped out for 1" 80/20 extrusions, and the sloppy shaft and linkages have been traded in for tight tolerance linear motion components. To set your angles, you'll need a digital angle cube or just use a sharpie to mark the edge until it's where you want it to be. I've added a BOM from McMaster-Carr, but I used spare parts from another project instead. You'll also need some spare 1/4"-20 nuts and washers, and possibly extra 80/20 screws and nuts.
