Check out the latest description on GitHub: https://github.com/krokus57/rpiWSi Hardware setup: You will need the following components: Raspberry Pi Model B (https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/model-b/) A 3.2" LCD display for Raspberry Pi (http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-Shipping-2014-New-Arrival-1Pcs-3-2-Inch-LCD-Touch-Screen-Display-Monitor-Module-For/1975039117.html) A USB Wi-fi dongle (http://www.tp-linkru.com/products/details/cat-11_TL-WN725N.html) An SD card To reduce the size of the box, you will need to: Unsolder two ports: audio jack and composite video port Solder power wires directly to a USB port The idea for the dock can be found on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:525241). Software setup: You can find the Python source code on GitHub: https://github.com/krokus57/rpiWSi. To set up the system, you will need: Some experience in Linux and programming A working internet connection Installed Python 2.7 Installed Pygame framework An API key from api.weatherunderground.com Weather icons (great VClouds icons can be found at http://www.deviantart.com/art/VClouds-Weather-2-179058977, but you will need permission to use them in your project). For the first run, change the following lines in file globals.py: Uncomment one of the interface languages (lang_ru or lang_en) Replace the WeatherUnderground API key with your own key Replace the GPS coordinates with your location Do not change the weather underground api language or icon set Choose temperature units: Celsius or Fahrenheit Enable debug mode to test without an internet connection Set the web server port and screen resolution as needed After setting up, you can access the current screenshot from the Raspberry Pi using a browser at http://raspberry_ip:8080.
