This room is designed for use with LED lights. The bottom of the well is lifted slightly, so the light should shine at the bottom of the pit. I used 2-3mm LEDs and it's okay. The holder is made to fit IKEA Te-lights battery holders. When using a 3V battery, you should also use a 1 ohm resistor for accuracy. At the time, I didn't have one, so I cheated a bit.
