This room is designed for use with LED lights. The bottom of the well is lifted slightly, so the light should shine at the bottom of the pit. I used 2-3mm LEDs and it's okay. The holder is made to fit IKEA Te-lights battery holders. When using a 3V battery, you should also use a 1 ohm resistor for accuracy. At the time, I didn't have one, so I cheated a bit. I usually use 3V in my setup; some LEDs are 2.4V, and so on - it should be stated on the LED description) Diode forward current (mA): 20mA - I believe this is correct Number of LEDs in your array: this is the number of LEDs you want to try out
