Inspired by a Pinterest image (https://br.pinterest.com/pin/492510909226072903/), I created an appealing paper model using my own mechanisms. The design was developed in Solidworks 2016 and then rendered with Simlab Composer 7 Mechanical Edition. For the video, I edited frames using Virtualdub, saved as AVI/X264 and BMP formats. MyMP4BoxGui was used to remux the file into MP4. Gifs were created in PhotoScape, while IrfanView was employed for rendering edits. The 3D-PDF, ZIM, and SIMLAB files are all animated. The ZIM file can be viewed on iOS and Android devices using Simlab Viewer app. The model is available in various formats including Solidworks 2016, Simlab Composer 7, DAE, STEP, IGES, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS, and ZIM.
