Whooped tiefighter 6mm
thingiverse
Also inspired by the original design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1978823) which has unfortunately become unavailable but with the body of this remixed version. The only modification made is a reduction in wing height, cutting it down to half of the original size. You will need four distinct wing parts, two pairs that must be carefully bonded together using non-blooming super glue and OHP transparency film in between. The film was colored with a permanent marker before being secured in place. This whoop is significantly heavier than its standard counterparts, which typically require better motors to achieve stable flight. To accommodate HV lipos, the battery bracket has been enlarged using heat from a soldering iron to ensure a snug fit. The motors used can be sourced from https://micro-motor-warehouse.com/collections/all-motors/products/cl-0615-19. The FC of choice for this build is an older F3-Beecore without OSD, though the Inductrix and Eachine e010 should also be compatible options. UPDATE 2020-02-01: With reduced rate settings, the whoop flies remarkably well. However, every yaw turn poses a challenge due to its enclosed design, making it essential to adjust rates for optimal performance.
