I've got a whoop design file in my Fusion360 app that's starting to balloon! I've drawn so many whoop frames and parts that I'm starting to lose track of how many I've done. So here's the first of several that I'll be sharing with you all. This design has been sitting in my library for a couple of months now, and I thought it was a waste - It's a really cool design. I design so much stuff that I get complacent, which is why I decided to let them out into the wild for download. So here's the "Whoopadoopa" power whoop frame - named by my little man Seb! This was designed with 3D printing in mind at all times and it flies really well for a 3D printed frame - it's nice and stiff with great response. I printed in nylon because it's tough, but anything as simple as PLA will work (I've done it). I made the design durable so you can build with confidence. For the electronics, I stuck the insides of a Beta75X in this one, but I imagine you could get most whoop parts into this frame since the centre drillings are standard whoop dimensions. I made a range of chassis with different size standoffs so you can build as you see fit - I think you could easily handle this with a Turtle or split it real easy, hence the different chassis heights to give you more room inside. I made the camera clip in TPU and used a tiny drop of Super Glue to lock it and the camera in place. The rear antenna/LED plate will clamp down on antennas and give you a place to mount an LED plate. I printed the ducts upside down with support inside, the top shell with support underneath, the batt holder and camera mount in TPU - no jelly here! All designed to be printed very easily. I use these screws to assemble it: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07GLLG3MF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It's a work in progress since I've got more ducts, batt holders, and 20x20 chassis to list. Enjoy!
