Whoop Daddy

Whoop Daddy

I designed an 8.5mm motor version similar to the Tiny Whoop, needing a bigger version for safely flying in the house. This build uses Scisky flight controllers, CL 820-17 Dark Edition motors, Q25 16ch VTX and camera, Ladybird 55mm props, and Turnigy Graphene 65c 750mah battery. The all-up weight (without battery) is 51.4 grams. The motor caps protect the wires on the bottom of the motors and keep them from pushing up if you land hard. They are the right length to have the top of the motors flush with the top of the motor mounts in the frames. With 750Mah batteries, I get 5.5 minutes of flying and 4.5 minutes of hard flying with no power dropoff. I land at 4.5 minutes and have 3.7v on the battery. You'll notice no components stick out above or below the frames, so the electronics are well protected. This is a very easy print needing no rafts or supports. Enjoy and let me know how it works for you. Print Settings Printer: MakerFarm i3V 10 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 20%
