Camera Mount Upgrade for Whitenoise Riplite 5" Frame. The new design includes additional mounting holes to securely nestle your camera within the frame, providing superior protection against impacts. After thorough testing and a few crashes, I discovered that the original camera mounts need to be reinforced with extra material. The "thicker" files won't work with the standard top plate; instead, they're specifically designed for the thicker top plates available on this thing: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3298139. A TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) camera mount is incredibly durable and resistant to damage, making it an ideal choice for your build material. I personally use TPU on my high-performance race quad, and the results are impressive. The TPU mount seamlessly integrates with the top and bottom plates, providing a secure and firm fit. The camera holes may be slightly tight, but the bolts easily thread through, ensuring a solid connection. By maximizing the amount of plastic between the holes, we've effectively strengthened the weakest points in the design.
