I discovered this ancient stone in East Lothian, Scotland, lying abandoned by the side of a field where it had been unearthed 20 years prior to my finding. Dr Tertia Barnett created the 3D Model for the Scottish Rock Art Project. The mysterious markings date back approximately 4000 years. This is an extremely rare discovery in East Lothian - a neolithic cup and ring marked stone, classified as Treasure Trove, with the potential to be preserved in a museum.
