This holder accommodates up to five whiteboard markers. It's designed specifically for Expo brand markers, which are widely used and easily recognizable. Many users employ this device to create music staff lines on their whiteboards. A cap holder is integrated into the design to facilitate simultaneous removal of all caps. However, due to high friction caused by multiple caps, this process can be somewhat challenging. An alternative solution exists in the form of the Cap_Replacement.stl file, which allows for easy cap retention and prevents drying out. To ensure smooth insertion and removal of the markers, clamps are strategically positioned on the holder. Users simply need to wrap an elastic tightly around the body and clamp of each pen insert, taking advantage of the pre-built grooves designed specifically for this purpose. This design is optimized for right-handed users, featuring finger grooves that enhance usability. For left-handed individuals, mirroring the file in their slicer will transform it into a left-handed version. The device boasts a 0.2mm tolerance around the pens and caps, which means printers with larger tolerances may require additional steps to ensure proper fitment. In such cases, users may need to drill or sand out holes to achieve a smooth finish.
