This pen holder can accommodate up to five whiteboard markers. It's designed specifically for Expo brand pens, which are widely used and easily found. The primary function of this device is to create music staff lines on a whiteboard. A built-in cap holder makes it simple to remove all the caps at once, although doing so can be slightly challenging due to high friction levels when handling five caps simultaneously. A more practical solution is to use the Cap_Replacement.stl file, which should fit seamlessly onto the pens and prevent them from drying out. The pen holder features clamps that facilitate easy removal and retention of the markers. To secure each pen insert, wrap an elastic tightly around its body and clamp. The device includes grooves designed specifically for the elastics to slide into place. This product is tailored for right-handed users, featuring finger grooves. For left-handed users, simply mirror the file in your slicer, and it will automatically convert to a left-handed version. The pen holder was created with a 0.2mm tolerance around the pens/caps. This means that if your printer has a larger tolerance for tightly fitting parts, you may need to drill or sand out the holes to ensure proper fitment.
