Whiteboard Marker Wall Mount
thingiverse
My first practical design comes alive with this first print, demanding a convenient spot to stash my whiteboard markers and requiring nothing more than a genius idea to fill the need. It works precisely as envisioned with a solid grasp that makes quick work of snapping in and out markers, eliminating any unnecessary stress. Mounted firmly in place using 3M's renowned "Command Brand" double-sided adhesive strips for effortless removal when the time comes. I used my settings exactly as directed in the STL file to print it in white PLA: layer height at a steady 0.2, shell thickness reaching an impressive 0.8, and infill percentage optimized to 10% with a swift print speed of 60mm/s and a solid support via brim configuration. I took one more precautionary note that helped my specific situation by reversing the print direction (printing it upside-down) paired with an optional raft, as seen in the image, since a curling defect occurred which you may face - but fear not, for an extra-precise outcome lies within your reach.
