Due to their small size, Wise Caps often can’t defend themselves, relying on their natural powerful poisons to kill or incapacitate anyone who eats them. Wise Caps are able to telepathically communicate with their kind across vast distances and anyone that betrays or helps them becomes immediately known to their entire kind. Bomph, the Wise Caps’ native language, cannot be spoken or taught, as it relies on the exchange of telepathic signals, color shifting of one’s cap, and the exchange of spore clouds.  Do you paint?
