White Violin

I'm inspired by indie superhero comics like The Umbrella Academy, and I've created my own adaptation of the White Violin. Using Blender, I designed and rigged a 3D model, also refining it with touch-up sculpting before moving on to uv mapping and importing the mesh into Substance Painter for texture work. The gramophone is a low-poly mesh that I modeled in Blender and textured in SP. I utilized the skin modifier in Blender to create the veins. My adaptation draws inspiration from the original artwork by Brazilian comic artist Gabriel Bá. There's also a Netflix adaptation of the comic series in the works, with an upcoming TV show; I'm excited to see how they'll bring this character to life.
