With a rich history dating back to Byzantine times, the tower has been rebuilt several times to protect its harbor from potential threats. Today, it proudly serves as the symbol of Thessaloniki, a stunning cylindrical drum with a diameter of 75 feet and a height of 112 feet above ground level. A smaller turret sits atop the main structure, adding an extra touch of charm to this beloved landmark.
