White Clouds Model BYU Art Museum

This is a detailed recreation of the Art Museum section from a 12x12 foot scale model of the BYU campus, created in collaboration with a team at WhiteClouds, a leading provider of 3D printing services. Each section was carefully designed to accommodate lighting effects that would illuminate the buildings from below, adding an extra layer of realism to the overall design. The Project 660 Pro sandstone printer played a crucial role in shaping the models, requiring precise sizes and shapes to ensure they could withstand the printing process without sustaining any damage. To achieve this, we worked closely with the customer to create oversized statues that would be easily visible from various angles when viewing the model. Finally, foliage and trees were added using flocking techniques to complete the intricate details of the piece.
