Human: This beercan-to-cookpot conversion uses metal lids to keep creepy crawlies out and quicken the water boil; hikers and backpackers love it for being cheap and lightweight. I've added a "sippy" type drink-dam and whistle to alert you when the water reaches a boil. The shown lid is a snap-on version that prints in two parts with the outer ring cone up, glued together with lexan adhesive - nylon or polycarbonate should be used to withstand heat. Unfortunately, this snap-on version only fits specific threads, but it "might" fit others.
