I've designed a whistle with a hollow ball inside, and now you can make one too just from your 3D printer! All it takes is freeing the ball, and the whistle works like magic. I've put the whistle to the test, and it produces an impressive 110dB SPL in the range of 2000-2400Hz. If you're looking for a local 3D printing hub, check out 3DHubs at https://www.3dhubs.com/karlsruhe/hubs/prusa-i3-200x200x200 or MyMiniFactory at https://www.myminifactory.com/de/users/3D-Print-KA. I'm based in Stutensee, a lovely town near Karlsruhe, Germany. Here are the print settings I used: * Printer Brand: RepRap * Printer Model: Prusa i3 acrylic * Rafts: None needed * Supports: Not required * Resolution: 0.2mm layer height with a 0.5mm nozzle * Infill density: 40% Just remember, after the print is complete, you'll need to free the hollow ball for the whistle to work its magic! And that's it - no complicated assembly or post-processing required.
