Whistle using v29 chamber profile and rotational extrusion
thingiverse
I was after a straightforward and compact version of the v29 whistle. Initially, I experimented with another compact version of the whistle but encountered some issues with printing it cleanly due to various surface features and mesh irregularities. Upon closer examination, that version revealed an extremely large number of triangles and numerous mesh errors. This whistle model was created by extracting a 2D profile from the original v29 and then rotating it into a wedge shape. Consequently, it has a naturally very low number of triangles (~3000). I'll probably add the openscad file eventually and allow customization in some form. Print Settings: Printer: Monoprice Select Mini Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: It should print smoothly on any printer. The most challenging part of the print is the two bridges at the tops of the air exit holes. Those bridges provide critical support for the rest of the holes.
