Whistle

Introducing Episode 2 of Better Living with MakerBot! Say goodbye to last-minute panic when you can't find your soccer referee whistle. Just print a new one in 26 minutes using your MakerBot. The object file is available for import into AOI and Blender. Be cautious while bridging the top layer during printing, but rest assured that this whistle has been successfully printed twice. Don't forget to add your own gcode file with tested Skeinforge settings to ensure a (nearly) watertight object. For an improved version of the whistle, check out "Whistle_v2" which has optimized mouth design and is slightly less loud. Remember to read about food safety concerns before blowing your new whistle made of printed plastic. The blog post "For Foodies Out There" (http://blog.thingiverse.com/2009/09/13/for-foodies-out-there/) has more information on this topic.
