In shallow waters, it's essential to keep the rudder centered by adjusting its strap. This adaptable feature allows for quick setup and removal, making it ideal for changing conditions. With two pre-adjusted print parts, you can easily switch between different heights. The 3D printed "twister" features three precise holes that securely fit a 3mm rope. To create sufficient friction, simply zig-zag the rope through these holes, taking note that tension on both sides of the twister significantly increases grip. At the rudder's lower end, I utilized a robust 5mm bungee that effortlessly slides over the T foil. By applying the right amount of tension, this bungee ensures the rope remains in place within the twister, preventing any slippage.
