Whirlpool Washing Machine Laundry Foot Lock

After I built a pedestal for our washer and dryer, I realized that I needed a way to secure the feet in place to prevent the washer from sliding around - especially off the pedestal. A quick round of measurements and some time spent in Tinkercad led me to design this solution, which seems to get the job done perfectly. I printed two parts to hold the front and back feet of the washer, and then screwed them into the pedestal using 1.5-inch all-purpose screws. This design should work with any washer that has approximately 45mm diameter feet and are about 15mm from the edge of the foot to the edge of the sheet metal on the washer. It's designed to be 10mm thick, which allows it to fit snugly under my washer's clearance requirements.
