WHICH WAY'S UP ON CREALITY CR-10 V2?
pinshape
I made this because I ran the nozzle into the bed a few times and for the life of me I could not find documentation or any blurb on the web of what direction to turn the knob on my Creality CR-10 V2 to make the Z axis (or Zed depending on what side of the globe you live on) go up. Thought I would print out a few pennies worth of filament from the printer to save $500 plus by not ruining it. Hope it's helpful for others too. There are three STL files. One is for if you think up is up, one for if you think down is up, and one that has the full Monty and tells you the direction of all axii (axises, axoms, whatever.) Hint: they both signify the direction that the knob on the CR-10 V2 should rotate to move the Z axis up. Clockwise is up. 3D Printing Details Material: I used eSun red PLA Plus (very good bed and layer adhesion) Scale - Make sure to set scale at 2540 to convert to inches. For UpIsUp & UpIsDown: Print time: 15 minutes Filament length used: 0.63 meters Filament weight used: 2 grams For UpIsUp Plus Full Monty: Print time: 1 hour 12 minutes Filament length used: 2 meters Filament weight used: 6 grams Print settings - See pictures
