Whetstone / Sharpening Stone Case for Ruixin
prusaprinters
I bought a 9-piece set of sharpening stones for Stefan's CNC Kitchen knife sharpener (https://www.printables.com/model/81237-knife-sharpening-tool-v21-with-video), but needed a way to store them. There are cases for smaller sets but not mine, so off to Fusion 360 I went! This is for the Ruixin-style stones that are 150mm x 20mm x 10mm with the plastic base. Here's the set I bought: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B098M9M915/I made two sets of files, one with the grit numbers on the side and text on the lid, and the others are blank. Please note: it seems that these stones are being manufactured very differently at times, resulting in longer bases than the ones I have bought. I advise you to measure each stone base and make sure they will fit in the case slots. Some have had to increase the length of the case by 5% or more.Print with any filament and nozzle. I used 0.5mm for this one but for the most part 0.6mm will save you more time and work just as well. It just barely fits my Prusa Mini and one corner always lifts so try to use brims or helper squares when possible to keep the print on the plate.
